THE STILLHOUSE FORGE LEARNING MODEL

Distill insight. Forge skill. Live it out.

The Stillhouse FORGE Learning Model is the foundation for every workshop, cohort, and coaching experience offered through The Stillhouse. Built on the belief that meaningful growth requires more than information—it requires reflection, practice, and lived transformation—FORGE moves learners through a clear and intentional process that strengthens leadership, resilience, and workplace effectiveness.

The model integrates head (knowledge), heart (mindset), hands (practice), and habits (sustained behavior), positioning participants to grow personally and professionally within a supportive, high-accountability learning community.

THE FIVE-PART FORGE CYCLE

F — Frame

Clarify purpose and outcomes.
Participants identify why the learning matters, what success looks like, and how the topic connects to their values, leadership identity, and organizational goals.

O — Observe

Increase awareness and insight.
Learners engage in self-assessment, reflection, and honest evaluation of current patterns. This step strengthens emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and decision-making clarity.

R — Refine

Build skills and shape new mindsets.
Participants learn practical tools, leadership techniques, and communication strategies. Through guided practice, they begin replacing ineffective habits with more effective, research-based behaviors.

G — Ground

Apply learning to real-life contexts.
Learners translate insights into concrete commitments, action steps, and workplace applications that enhance performance, teamwork, and culture. The focus is on relevance and immediate impact.

E — Extend

Sustain and multiply transformation.
Follow-up coaching, peer support, and accountability structures help participants maintain momentum, deepen habits, and share their learning with others. Growth becomes normalized, not episodic.

Why It Works

The FORGE Model is rooted in adult learning theory, leadership development research, and behavioral change science. It ensures that competence, clarity, and character grow together—creating leaders who are adaptable, resilient, and equipped to navigate complex environments.

At The Stillhouse, participants don’t just learn new ideas—they leave with refined skills, renewed confidence, and the ability to lead with intention.
